Mission:
Our Mission, as Chaplains in the New England area, is to minister to the entire community as a conglomerate of churches. We put aside denominational differences and minor doctrinal issues to serve our community while hoping that some would be helped. It is our vision that we would continue to have a powerful effect serving our communities.
Purpose of NEAOCC:
New England Association Of Community Chaplains
The nature of the activities to be conducted and the purposes to be promoted or carried out by the Community Chaplains shall be exclusively charitable, religious, and educational within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal revenue Code of 1986, as amended (or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code), (the “Code”), including, but not limited to the following:
(A) To further the spirit of ecumenicity and understanding among all religious groups as they relate to the community.
(B) To educate the broader communities and religious organizations about the role of religion and spirituality in the community.
(C) To address, as religious professionals, issues in the larger society as they impact all communities.
(D) To provide educated chaplains to our communities serving but not limited to our police and fire departments, hospitals, schools, nursing homes, and prisons.
(E) To provide a continuing professional fellowship and education and support for chaplains
Membership & Verification:
All men and women engaged in religious vocations at public and private institutions are welcome to Apply. Positions represented include (but are not limited to): Chaplain (certified), Chaplain Associate, etc.
